File Naming and Image Specifications
For Show and Tell, name your files so that they appear together during the slideshow and we can identify who owns each photo. Files should be named consistently using your name similar to FirstNameLastName-Title.jpg (e.g. RobertMiller-APhotographTitle.jpg, RM-img123.jpg, etc.). For Critic’s Corner, files may be submitted anonymously by placing your question in a similarly named text file. All images must be in JPEG format and not exceed 2500px in either width or height.
Images for the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA) competitions have specific file naming and image requirements. Please read the complete list of requirements for each competition which is published on the CAPA website, including restrictions such as editing and theme rules. Questions about CAPA rules may be addressed during club meetings or may be sent by email to our National Association Director.
